Dr Frank Summers founding editor of the Yeoval District Satellite. Also helped by benefactors, such as Max Miller (1940-2023) young high school student who will illustrate and design the logo of the first satellite. While colour pictures and advertisements are now the norm, in a previous era pencil sketches accompanied the copy. Its name was inspired by the then-Soviet Union’s successful launching of the Sputnik satellite during the Cold War.
